The Bryndziaren in Zvolenská Slatina is the largest as well as the oldest bryndza factory. It was founded by the Molec family in 1797 and since that time it has been producing bryndza the most typical Slovak cheese. Its high quality, unique taste and traditional production techniques give it a specific position not only in the Slovak market, but make it a frequently demanded white cheese abroad as well. Our greatest foreign customers are Hungary and the USA. The export has reached one third of the company production.

The Bryndziaren a syráren (bryndza and cheeses factory) is a modern production facility certified by the European Commission for the import of milk and milk products to the European Union countries. Our bryndza and cheeses are highly valued not only by consumers, but experts as well (they were awarded by the Slovak Association of Cheese Producers Prize, the highest prize in the competition of products made from sheep's milk Ovenálie 2003, etc.). Every year, our bryndza is an official raw material used at World Championships in the cooking and eating of bryndzové halušky (bryndza noodles).
